The Service
Five minutes before our Sunday morning service begins at 10:30 a.m., a bell is rung reminding people that the service is about to begin. The service begins with a Welcome by our minister Rev. Barbara McKusick Liscord, and Announcements by a council member. The Prelude is then followed by the Lighting of the Chalice, Opening Words, a Hymn and Our Affirmation read by all.

Sharing of Concerns is done by lighting a candle and speaking briefly at the front of the sanctuary, while joys are also spoken at the front of the sanctuary.

A story for all ages is read for children and adults. Children are encouraged to come to the front of the sanctuary while the story is being read. After the story, children go to their classes.

Readings, the Offering and Offertory, Prayer & Meditation and Musical Interlude are next in our order of service, followed by the morning Sermon. A Hymn, a Benediction & Extinguishing the Chalice and the Postlude conclude our service.

Immediately after the service all are invited to gather downstairs in Barnum Hall for coffee and conversation.

Welcome!!
